The First Website I've Ever Made

In our every day lives on Earth, we take for granted that our world expands far beyond the surface of our planet. There are many other fascinating planets in our solar system alone as a matter of fact. For example, Mercury is the one which is closest to the sun, causing the surface of it to be extremely hot. Though, ironically, it can also be extremely cold there. The coldest part of that planet is the side of it which is not facing the sun. Like many other planets, its conditions are not very bearable to human beings, who would either burn to death or freeze to death there. Just after this planet is Venus. Similar to Mercury, it's also extremely hot. It's a volcanic planet which doesn't have any cold parts. Earth, our home planet, is the 3rd planet from the sun. It's the best planet for human life due to several reasons. Its atmosphere keeps the heat which it received from the sun. Though, it prevents that heat from escaping the ozone layer. Unfortunately, the stockpiling of this heat has led to what scientists have come to know as "global warming."

There's a lot of heat trapped in the ozone layer of Earth due to all the accumulation of heat and lack of the reciprocation of it.

There was one game which I've played years ago on lego.com which was epic. Its name was Lego Racer. It was a game where the player controls a lego car through a 3-D area that appears to be the toy department of a mall or major store of some kind, according to my anecdotal and empirical experience with playing that game. The player, who takes on the role of a toy race car made of legos, has the privilege to drive through the entire area. There are 2 options which the player has when doing this: he or she can either drive through the entire area while racing the clock or just simply drive around the area freely without any time restrictions. Not only can the player drive on flat ground, but can also go up ramps which lead them into traveling in mid-air and drive up slopes which would lead to higher ground. The area is enormously large, giving the player a lot of locations to explore and drive in, and simply be in. I've also heard that there were some rumors about glitches and easter eggs which can be activated.

Legos have been used to imitate many different aspects of the real world using simple blocks which are arranged in such a way, that they're highly impressive.

Nowadays, I have all the tech that I would probably ever need. Despite this, ironically, people like me get an opportunity to possess even more of it. For example, I already have a cell phone which has a touch screen as well as many extra portable features such a an alarm clock, internet connection, and a built-in camera. Unfortunately, about 98% of the time, I don't even need them even the slightest bit. It even has a notepad, a calculator, and even a currency converter, which I would've never even imagined needing unless I was traveling from place-to-place for a living. Having that said, I can't believe what else could possibly be necessary, especially when I have better things to do other than play around with my cell phone all day long.

There are far too many kinds of cell phones being made these days. Each update seems like a huge step further in the world of tech. How much further are we going to get with this?

For a website, this is still very primitive. Though, many of the greatest modern websites such as Google . I've always wondered how the designers of YouTube have created their website where not only did they post their own videos, but they've also allowed trillions of people around the world post their videos from over trillions of different computers which don't have access to the Notepad or TextEdit file that was used to create it.

Google has been one of the most commonly used searched engines for many years.

It's amazing how the 3 creators of YouTube have managed to create one of the most epic websites of the modern time.

Before successfully being able to publish this website, I've been having a hard time setting it up. The tags which I've been trying to put on it haven't been appearing as I've been expecting it to be at first. There were supposed to be pictures of certain things here and there, but they weren't appearing. It could've been due to a certain combination of what was put in the tags or what order they were placed in. Why was this the case? Because the tags were different for different computer operating systems, such as for a Macintosh and Windows computers.

What's so special about summer? To students, it's a time of the year in which they don't have to go to school for 2 months straight. It's the longest school vacation in the entire year. Since I was the kind of person who liked being busy and challenged, this meant that I definitely had to find something to keep me occupied with quickly or I'd get bored easily. I was planning on starting summer reading after the last day of school (June 21 for the 2010-2011 school year), but with other priorities at hand as well, such as this volunteering program, reading and memorizing the info stated in the driver's manual for Massachusetts citizens so that I could get my driver's permit and license ASAP, and start working out. When considering when to draw the line so that I don't overwork myself, I thought that what I've already stated above should be just the right amount of work to get done, considering the rigorous amount or level of work as well as the pace of it during the school year. I thought that if I could do it then, then I've met the prerequisite to be able to do it now. I can't think of any reason not to except that summer was designed to be a time in which students get to have fun with things that they normally are not able to do so easily during the course of the school year. I can't seem to say how much I'm glad that this volunteering program at Floral Street school doesn't assign any homework because it seems like I have some of my own already.

Get up and play!

Don't be lazy!

If you're one of those "web surfers," or people who frequently browse through the internet for personal amusement, some websites I'd recommend bookmarking are YouTube, Facebook, Google, Twitter, and MySpace.
