Sadly USA lost to Japan in the women's soccer league championship game on July 17 2011. The score was 2 2 it went out to shoot off and Japan won the shoot out. You can tell by their face that they were upset. Hope Solo was on a roll when they played Brazil in the shoot off. There was very good shoots but they missed. I think everyone was surprised when they lost but if USA didn't win I would want Japan to win cause they are a vert good team Hope Solo said on espn .
The Bruins won the the Stanley Cup ageist Vancouver Canucks. The score was 4 0 the Bruins. Tim Thomas had an amazing game no shoots in net it a was amazing and surprising. Bergeron scored twice that game one short handed shoot. Boston was so excited. Shortly there was a parade for the Boston Bruins. In the first rounds they were losing and came back and won the cup.
